Sneak Peek video from Latin@s in Northern Minnesota

Thanks to Amalia Deloney for the early heads up on this video created by People Escaping Poverty Project. It’s a video is a series of interviews with Latin@s of all ages in Northern MN (Fargo/Moorhead) asking them questions about their internet needs, as well as the challenges they face with access, hardware, cost, etc.

The video will be officially unveiled on Friday at the launch of the MN Digital Justice Coalition Meeting.

I love the interviews with the kids – because, like my own kids, these kids don’t distinguish between a computer and the Internet. Also interesting, the older kids seem to definitely think of Internet access as a utility – and even on campus it’s not fast enough.
